Trek Details

In Nepal, the Annapurna region is one of the most famous trekking areas, second only to the Mt. Everest region. It offers a variety of experiences beyond trekking, including cultural immersion and city tours. Explore Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city, or visit Chitwan National Park. Upper Mustang, a hidden kingdom accessible through a moderate trek, showcases the region's unique culture and stunning natural beauty. This trek caters to trekkers with varying levels of experience.

The Poon Hill to Annapurna Base Camp trip usually takes 8-10 days at a slow pace. Poon Hill trek is a very popular route in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It offers a diverse range of landscapes that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from lush rhododendron forests to high-altitude alpine meadows. Poon Hill provides stunning sunrise views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, including many other famous peaks like Mt. Fishtail, Gangapurna, and Tukuche Peak. The trail then continues to Annapurna Base Camp.

From the historic tour of Kathmandu to the natural beauty of Pokhara, from the trek in the mountains to jungle safari activities in Chitwan, all the activities that you are involved in on this trip will give you an excellent taste of Nepal. The incredible view of the Annapurna range from this Lower Annapurna region trekking is second to none. Although it is a short trek in Nepal, this Annapurna Panorama Trek accomplishes your desire to trek in the Himalaya in a short time.

Trekking Annapurna in the well-maintained mountain trails alongside a mountain river, up and down the hill enjoying the scenic beauty of the area, exploring the local lifestyle and culture, talking to ever-smiling Nepali mountain residents, taking a peaceful boat ride, going for optional adventure sports activities in Pokhara, finding a relaxing massage, and exploring the jungle in Chitwan to see amazing wildlife—all these amazing things are in your basket on this trip. Safety & acclimatization

  • Highest elevation is significant — watch for altitude sickness. Take it slow, drink plenty of water, consider an acclimatization day if you feel sluggish.
  • Weather can change quickly; warm layers, waterproofs, good boots and sun protection are necessary.
  • Mobile coverage is patchy; carry a power bank and let someone know your plan.

Recommended gear (short list)

  • Good trekking boots, warm down jacket, layers, waterproof shell.
  • Headlamp, water purification (or tablets), sunhat, sunglasses, sunscreen.
  • Cash (Nepalese rupees), small first-aid kit, toiletries, walking poles.

Small Tips:

  • Start early on summit/viewpoint days for best light and to avoid afternoon clouds.
  • Book permits and check trail/road conditions in Pokhara; talk to your trip planner, Fly Nepal Aventure's any staff or local guides for current information.
  • If short on time, you can do a 7-8days express trek, but it’s more strenuous and gives less acclimatization.

ABC trekking

During my recent trekking trip to the Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, I had the privilege of meeting an outstanding guide named Santosh. He was not only a guide but also a porter, and his professional knowledge and enthusiasm made our journey even more perfect. Firstly, he has a deep understanding of the Annapurna region. Whether it was about the local culture, geography, or climate, he was able to explain everything in detail, allowing us to gain a deeper understanding of the charm of this magnificent mountain range. He was always ready to answer our questions, making our journey full of exploration and enjoyment. I was profoundly impressed by the high importance he placed on safety. Throughout the trip, he always prioritized our safety, reminding us about areas with potential avalanches, which gave us great peace of mind. It was due to his professionalism and responsibility that we were able to fully enjoy the trekking experience and successfully complete this unforgettable journey. I sincerely appreciate his care and attention to each team member! Additionally, Santosh frequently helped us take memorable photos and prepared fruits for us every evening. The fruits he brought were what he purchased on the first day at the base and carried up the mountain for seven days. Moreover, when one of the team members had a broken backpack strap, he even borrowed a needle and thread from a local to help him fix it. In summary, this ABC trip became incredibly memorable because of this exceptional guide. His professionalism and care deeply moved me, and I wholeheartedly recommend Santosh to all travelers planning to trek in Nepal! Highly recommend this company!!!!
